Thimbleberries Launches their 2008 Charitable Initiative "Stars of Hope" Quilt
Thimbleberries is proud to be the sponsor of a year long program raising awareness and support for Faith's Lodge, a non-profit organization that provides a place where couples and families facing the serious illness or death of a child can retreat to reflect on the past, renew strength for the present and build hope for the future.

We have designed a quilt named
"Stars of Hope" that is available
as a free downloadable pattern.
The concept for the lodge was conceived by Mark and  Susan Lacek after their daughter, Faith Ann, was stillborn. The couple found respite in visits to their cabin and committed themselves to creating a sanctuary for other families with similar tragedies. After years of hard work, energetic fund raising, countless hours, and dedicated volunteers their vision has materialized and the lodge opened its doors to families in August of 2007.
Each family will be offered a quilt upon their arrival to use during their stay and bring home as a memento of their time at the lodge.
Completed quilts should be sent directly to Faith's Lodge to the address below. Please include a brief message to share with the families who receive the quilts with some information about the makers.
