This is a family favorite side dish served at holiday gatherings, a true tradition passed on from my childhood.
Ingredients
- 1 12 ounce can whole kernel corn drained
- 2 15 ounce cans cream style corn
- 5 eggs slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 Tablespoons corn starch
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon instant minced onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter cooled to room temperature
Servings: people
Instructions
- Mix corn starch in milk and whisk until corn starch is dissolved. Mix with all other ingredients. Pour into a well greased 3 quart casserole dish.
- Bake at 400° for 1 hour. Can also be baked at 350° for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Stir once, halfway through the baking time.
